The Provincial ASB Committee met with Minister Jason Nixon of Alberta Environment and Parks on September 25, 2019. The Committee discussed the following resolutions and issues with the Minister:
- Provided the Minister with an overview of ASBs and what we do
- Agricultural Plastics
- Wildlife Predator Compensation Program
- Weed Control on Public Lands
- Multi-stakeholder Committee to reduce fresh water use
- Species at Risk Act
- Elk damage and potential solutions
- Carbon Credits for permanent grassland/forestry
- Tuberculosis and brucellosis in Wood Buffalo National Park
