Federal Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland Response to Resolution 5-22 : Exemption of natural gas and propane for agriculture under the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act

Better late than never….. Resolution 5-22

The ASBPC received two letters of response from Minister Chrystia Freeland to Resolution 5-22. Deadline for response was April 8, so these responses were not considered in the ASBPC grades distributed to ASBs on May 31. Any ASB that would like to amend their grade after reviewing the response can do so by June 30, 2022.

The minister’s responses have now been posted to the 2022 Resolution page and have been sent to the sponsoring municipality for their comment.
